Official Support Letter

Dear friends and family,

Hello!!!  I hope you are having a fantastic summer!  This season has certainly exceeded all of my expectations!  I began this summer by asking the Lord to make it really valuable and profitable in the things that really matter to Him, and I am ending it by being sent to Mozambique!!!  I am beyond thrilled as you can probably imagine! 

I will be attending the Harvest School of missions through Iris ministries.  We will be spending much time on our knees and learning the ways of the Kingdom.  We will be going out into the bush and giving the good news of Jesus’ power to save and heal.  This is an amazing opportunity as this ministry is in deep revival and they witness and participate in the power of the Holy Spirit on a regular basis.  Blind eyes are opened, deaf ears hear and the dead are raised!!!!  Praise the Lord!!  I am looking forward to walking in simple faith following Jesus and believing simply that He will do what He has promised.  I am expecting an impartation of great faith.  There is nothing I want more in this life than to honor our Lord Jesus by walking as He walked and living out the promises in His word that we will see even greater things than He did!!!  (John 14:10-14)

I will be blogging throughout my journey and I invite you to join me as I reflect upon what I am experiencing and learning.  I believe the Lord will stir up your faith as well as we push on toward the goal.  We have a short life to live and then we meet Him.  It will be so much sooner than we realize so as Hebrews 10:24 says… “let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds…and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

This opportunity to go to Mozambique comes on the heels of another opportunity that the Lord has provided for me.  I am (Lord willing) going to Africa TWO times this year!!  Crazy I know!  My second trip to Africa has been in the works for over nine months and it includes a dream I have of connecting American kids to child slaves in Ghana (who have been rescued) and letting the two worlds receive and learn from one another.  It is much too long of a story to include in this letter so I have written about it in my blog with all of the information about how you can get involved in either helping me financially or helping the child slaves in Ghana.  In my blog I have included a both a short and long version of my dream along with ALL of the information you would need if you wanted to be a part.  I hope you will check it out.  Look for the blog that is titled Ghana dream: from the US to Africa. 

Thank you for letting me share my journey with you.  If you feel led to support me financially, I of course will receive it!  However, please do not feel obligated but know I am just grateful to be able to share with you.  I appreciate your prayers and hope you will follow my blog to be able to hear what God is doing!
